CollageIt

CollageIt provides you with the means of creating high quality photo collages in a simple and comfortable manner. It comes with a broad range of templates and presets, to help you design your collages in a matter of seconds. You may customize your collage in various ways and export it in more than one graphical format. The application is available in free and paid versions, for Mac OS X and Windows.

The clean and efficient layout of the user interface allows you to work quite fast, without any distractions. Imported pictures appear in a column, on the left side of the interface and you can simply click and drag them to a preview of your collage, in the central region of the interface. Furthermore, you can tweak nearly any aspect of your collage, through a series of sliders and check boxes, located on the right side of the window.

As previously mentioned, the application includes a large number of collage templates. You can choose from various collage styles, like mosaic, grid, pile and others. Once your pictures are inserted into their frames, you can rearrange them, crop, rotate or flip them. It is also possible to increase or decrease the distance between pictures, add frames or masks and customize the background with a solid color, gradient or with another picture.

If you are satisfied with your collage, you may export it as a picture, in JPG, PNG, BMP or other formats. Alternatively, you can export the collage as a PDF, set it as the desktop background or send it directly to iPhoto.
